The Background

In 1992, Game World began its humble beginnings as a mail order company, selling games and gaming accessories. By 1996, their business had grown significantly and they made the decision to focus solely on distribution. They broadened their catalog to include toys, sport accessories, electronics, and health/beauty products – thus growing their catalog from 30,000 to over 300,000 products. Today, Game World distributes their products globally and is a market leader in the Benelux.


Due to the rapid growth, their system could no longer handle the influx of orders that were entering their system. Game World needed a platform that could handle their massive product catalog, as well as manage 2.7 million unique pricing rules tailored for each of their business customers.
