Address Type label in Customer Forms not show translated value

Hi!

I translated to pt_BR all parts not translated yet in Customer Form, but the label “Types” remain untranslated in the form entry (create or update). All values containing word “Types” searched in translation grid was translated. The weird thing is oro.customer.customeraddress.types.label appears translated in translation grid but untranslated in translation cache, even with cache:clear or deleting entire cache. Any suggestion? How can I change by hand the label of the form?

Can you try to manually delete subfolders from /app/cache/* folder, then execute

Shell

php app/console cache:clear

1	php app/console cache:clear

command and then re-check?
If the problem remains – please give us a detailed steps of how to reproduce it – we will try to fix it. Because it looks like a bug

I always do cache:clear every time (learned lesson! kkkk). I fixed the translation (in fact, I hammered!) changing Oro\Bundle\CustomerBundle\Form\Type\CustomerTypedAddressType.php, as follow:

->add(
‘types’,
‘translatable_entity’,
[
‘class’ => $this->addressTypeDataClass,
‘property’ => ‘label’,
‘required’ => false,
‘multiple’ => true,
‘expanded’ => true,
‘label’ => ‘Tipos’ /* Here is the hammered. It is working */
…

I know, it is not a solution, but I tried in label property put everything to try to translate original value, in Form class or in form_theme.html.twig unsuccessful.

Any ideas how to really fix it?

This is small mistake in template of form. Let me explain.

In oro_customer_typed_address_widget will be rendered all fields of form https://github.com/oroinc/customer-portal/blob/master/src/Oro/Bundle/CustomerBundle/Resources/views/Form/fields.html.twig#L28-L33.
But as you see we have import other block https://github.com/oroinc/customer-portal/blob/master/src/Oro/Bundle/CustomerBundle/Resources/views/Form/fields.html.twig#L30 that have {{ form_rest(form) }} in the end https://github.com/oroinc/customer-portal/blob/master/src/Oro/Bundle/CustomerBundle/Resources/views/Form/fields.html.twig#L55.

It means that all rest form fields will be rendered by https://github.com/oroinc/customer-portal/blob/master/src/Oro/Bundle/CustomerBundle/Resources/views/Form/fields.html.twig#L55 and last two fields types and defaults will not rendered by https://github.com/oroinc/customer-portal/blob/master/src/Oro/Bundle/CustomerBundle/Resources/views/Form/fields.html.twig#L31-L32.

Possible workaround: override oro_customer_typed_address_widget and oro_address_rows blocks in your bundle.

I’ll report this issue and it will be fixed in some of next releases. Thank you for reporting this issue.

Done by overriding oro_customer_typed_address_widget and oro_address_rows on my own bundle. Working fine.
