Email configuration

Hello all,
I have google Signon enabled with orocommerce and i can retrieve the inbox and send folder. and i can even send mail if i “compose a mail” function, on backend.
Now comes the issue, like sending a sales quote or exporting a document the email function doesnot work.
So what i need to do, configure a smtp on my server or just add the configuration on swiftmailer.
but if i configure swiftmailer it would be limited to one user. I want all the users to send mails like those.
Please provide suggestion, thanks
