Oro Inc. is announcing today that Magento\u2019s Co-Founder and former CEO Roy Rubin will be joining the company as an advisor. Roy is widely viewed as one of the people who disrupted the ecommerce world with the release of Magento. He and his team built a vibrant global community that continues to innovate and drive adoption of the platform.<\/p>\n

Roy will be leveraging his unparalleled ecommerce experience to help Oro\u2019s efforts to develop a suite of business applications and specifically, OroCommerce<\/a>, Oro\u2019s new Open-Source B2B Commerce application. In addition, Roy\u2019s deep understanding of how to build and nurture an open-source community will support Oro\u2019s strategy to create a passionate ecosystem around OroCommerce<\/a>.<\/p>\n
