Today we\u2019ll be demonstrating how to configure the integration with Magento in OroCRM.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">OroCRM supports an out of the box integration with Magento. \u00a0Currently the supported versions are 1.7 &#8211; 1.9. The integration enables syncing of data to and from a Magento-based eCommerce store (\u201cMagento store\u201d). In this video I will create a SOAP user and its related role in Magento, enabling WSDL caching, and finally connect Magento to OroCRM.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Before we begin, the OroCRM Bridge extension should be installed in your instance of Magento. The OroCRM Bridge is highly recommended. The integration can be created without installation of the extension, however the synchronization will then take longer. In addition, options such as two-way synchronization and synchronization of the custom fields will not be available.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You can download the extension on the OroCRM Marketplace at:<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/marketplace.oroinc.com\/package\/orocrm-magento-bridge\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">https:\/\/marketplace.oroinc.com\/package\/orocrm-magento-bridge<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Once the extension has been successfully installed,<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">you need to login to your Magento admin panel. \u00a0If you do not have access to this panel, please speak with your Magento administrator.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We will begin by navigating to System \u2192 Web Services \u2192 SOAP\/XML \u2013 RPC \u2013 Roles, and click the \u2018Add New Role\u2019 button.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Define the \u2018Role Name\u2019 that corresponds to your Magento store, and click the \u2018Save Role\u2019 button. The role will be saved and you will get to the role information page.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Go to the \u2018Roles Resources\u2019 section on the left hand side menu, set the \u2018Resource Access\u2019 field value to \u2018All\u2019 and save the role.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Now we have to create the User.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Go to the System \u2192 Web Services \u2192 SOAP\/XML \u2013 RPC \u2013 Users, and click the \u2018Add New User\u2019 button.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Define the \u2018Username\u2019 to login into the account, <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">First and Last Name,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">the email address, <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and the API Key or the password for your user. The Key has to be at least 6 symbols long. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The account is set as \u2018Active\u2019 by default.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Save the user.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-147116\" src=\"https:\/\/oroinc.com\/b2b-ecommerce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/10\/joxi_screenshot_1480095245865.png\" alt=\"joxi_screenshot_1480095245865\" width=\"627\" height=\"212\" srcset=\"https:\/\/oroinc.com\/b2b-ecommerce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/10\/joxi_screenshot_1480095245865.png 627w, https:\/\/oroinc.com\/b2b-ecommerce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/10\/joxi_screenshot_1480095245865-360x122.png 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 627px) 100vw, 627px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The user has been saved, click \u2018User Role\u2019 on the left hand side menu, assign the role that you\u2019ve already created, and click the \u2018Save User\u2019 button again.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In order to accelerate performance of initial sync, please make sure WSDL cache is enabled in Magento configuration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To enable the cache:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Go to the System \u2192 Configuration, proceed to the \u2018Services\u2019 section on the left hand side menu. Click on the \u2018Magento Core API\u2019 link, and choose \u2018Yes\u2019 in the \u2018Enable WSDL Cache\u2019 field of the General Settings section.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-147118\" src=\"https:\/\/oroinc.com\/b2b-ecommerce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/10\/joxi_screenshot_1480095264807.png\" alt=\"joxi_screenshot_1480095264807\" width=\"630\" height=\"245\" srcset=\"https:\/\/oroinc.com\/b2b-ecommerce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/10\/joxi_screenshot_1480095264807.png 630w, https:\/\/oroinc.com\/b2b-ecommerce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/10\/joxi_screenshot_1480095264807-360x140.png 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 630px) 100vw, 630px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>Now, let\u2019s login to OroCRM account to proceed with the integration on OroCRM side.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">First, we have to create a channel of Magento type that corresponds to our Magento store. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Go to System \u2192 Channels and click \u2018Create Channel\u2019 button. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Define the name of your channel and set the type to \u2018Magento\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The entity section is filled with default magento-type entities, and \u2018Configure Integration\u2019 link has appeared. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Click on it and \u2018Configure Integration\u2019 form will emerge.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The \u2018Name\u2019 of your integration is by default filled with the channel name, <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2018SOAP WSDL URL\u2019 \u2013 is the URL of your Magento instance plus the \u2018api\/v2_soap\/?wsdl=1\u2019 postfix, <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2018SOAP API User and Key\u2019 fields correspond to the User and Key we have defined in Magento.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2018WS-I Compliance\u2019 checkbox depends on the settings of your Magento store (to check them, go to the System \u2192 Configuration, proceed to the \u2018Services\u2019 section on the left hand side menu, click on the \u2018Magento Core API\u2019 link. In our case \u2018WS-I Compliance\u2019 is set to \u2018yes\u2019, so we need to enable the checkbox in OroCRM.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Checking \u2018Guest Customer Sync\u2019 box will cause guest orders to be combined under a single customer based on email. If a registered customer exists with this email all guest orders with his email will be attributed to his account.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Choose \u2018Sync start date\u2019, selecting the year, the month and the date.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Click the \u2018Check Connection\u2019 button. If the settings are correct, the success message will appear. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2018Website\u2019 field is set to \u2018all web sites\u2019 and \u2018Admin URL\u2019 has been added automatically.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Default owner is the user creating the integration. You can change the default values if necessary.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You can also define \u2018Synchronization Settings\u2019. By default, the \u2018Enable Two Way Sync\u2019 box is unchecked, which means that data can be loaded from Magento to OroCRM but not back. If two-way synchronization is enabled, define the priority used for cases when the data has been changed in both OroCRM and Magento:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-147120\" src=\"https:\/\/oroinc.com\/b2b-ecommerce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/10\/joxi_screenshot_1480095287882.png\" alt=\"joxi_screenshot_1480095287882\" width=\"477\" height=\"129\" srcset=\"https:\/\/oroinc.com\/b2b-ecommerce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/10\/joxi_screenshot_1480095287882.png 477w, https:\/\/oroinc.com\/b2b-ecommerce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/10\/joxi_screenshot_1480095287882-360x97.png 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 477px) 100vw, 477px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If Remote wins: Magento data will be applied to the both Magento and OroCRM.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If Local wins: OroCRM data will be applied to the both Magento and OroCRM.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Click \u2018Done\u2019 &#8211; the integration has been saved for the Channel. You may \u2018Save and Close\u2019 the Channel now.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">After successful synchronization Magento related data will be loaded to OroCRM and available for manipulation, marketing, or reporting uses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Thanks for watching!
