The company operates 23 distribution centers and employs more than 1,400 people. The company has nearly 11,000 independent retail customers operating over 15,000 retail outlets.
We chose OroCommerce because it gave us the flexibility and functionality to implement our digital strategy exactly how we wanted it.

What I liked about this project with Oro was that we were a team, in the same boat working together for the success of the project.

Through a strong feature set, coupled with the possibility to individually address our business processes, our goal of a holistic online platform that covers all HKL business areas will become a reality in a near future.

It was essential to include the teams in this project and to support them in getting to grips with the platform so that they understood all the opportunities. We will also continue to call on them to develop it according to their needs and their feedback.
Cdiscount Pro
Known as the biggest competitor to Amazon in France, Cdiscount launched their B2B specific portals for distinct customers. Cdiscount PRO gives the opportunity for professional buyers to access a marketplace of professional sellers and Cdiscount new or refurbished products.
We launched the platform during the crisis, which was not easy, but thanks to the partnership with OroCommerce, we were able to respond to health calls for tenders, very quickly, and we were able to deliver gel and masks has been a real plus for us.
Midway Dental Supply
Midway Dental Supply is an independent dental supply company that services Indiana, Michigan and Northeastern Illinois. The company is a family-owned, full-service dental distributor servicing the dental professional in every aspect of his or her business.
Oro is a wonderful company to work with because they have introduced such a flexible and dynamic web platform for the B2B industry. As a medical supplier, our organization was hard-hit by demand for PPE at a scale at which we have never seen. It was useful for us to create a PPE-specific site to operate additional sales channels out of. Within about 48 hours of submitting a request for such a site with a design, Oro was able to host an example of what we were looking for. Soon after that we went live and began selling on this alternative channel. This not only helped our organization, it sped up the process by which many who needed PPE were able to get it from us.

These were not regular customers prior to the pandemic. The challenge has been to get as many to stick with us afterwards. There is great functionality in Oro we haven’t had before that will continue to pay dividends here.
