    It seems that I am unable to create a new product. After the first screen (General) in which I define the type, product family and so on. I press “continue” and it than switches to the next screen but it never seems to stop loading that page. What can this mean???

    Hi @martijn1

    Can you look at your app/logs/prod.log, there should be message of error. You can put it here and it help to detect the problem.

    Sorry, but I cannot find the prod.log I ried to get there via the System tab, Configuration, Application settings but all I found there was the URL and the error logs notification field. (emty) Am I in the wrong section?

    I mean open project directory on server or local machine (depends on where you host it). Go to {project_directory}/app/logs directory and open file prod.log and there should be error description.
