The release 2.5 of OroPlatform provides improved MessageQueue jobs execution and enhanced REST API filtering capabilities.
MessageQueue Jobs
Message Queue engine received numerous improvements that allow it to better balance application workload and task processing. Additionally, the users can now promptly alert their system administrators of an issue, asa warning message is now displayed when no consumers are running.
REST API
REST API now supports alternative syntax for filtering operators and allows to filter records by date range.
Datagrids
It’s now possible to properly handle currencies that use no decimals (e.g., Japanese Yen) due to the datagrids that support monetary values represented by integers.
Miscellaneous Improvements
- To improve the initial functional test run performance, the Oro configuration cache warm-ups were moved to cache cleaners/warmers.
- To improve the internal consumers caching, the internal cache tree was removed from AbstractOwnerTreeProvider.
