Jary Carter on Oro’s Vision
The event began with a presentation by Jary Carter, the CRO and co-founder of Oro, in which he explained how Oro’s product vision will revolutionize the customer experience and help drive a radical shift in business performance. In particular, he focused on the core strategies for managing and harnessing the power of big data, as well as on the critical factors Oro has identified in order to succeed in today’s eCommerce market – flexibility, scalability and predictability.
Jary also looked at the rate at which Oro’s products are being adopted in different countries around the world, as well as the various applications being built with OroPlatform. He highlighted the main features of Oro products that lead to such a success among users – single view of customers across multiple channels, powerful filtering, segmentation and analysis tools among others. Tink Taylor on How to Create Successful Email Campaigns
Following Jary, Tink Taylor, co-founder and President of the dotDigital Group PLC (which includes Dotmailer) talked about the critical elements that go into creating successful email marketing campaigns. He explained why email marketing automation is the key to positive UX, as well as how to increase work performance in order to do four days worth of work in as little as six minutes.
Next, Tink went over some of online marketing challenges and how to overcome them. He unveiled B2B use cases, which showcased clients that were innovating their sales experience at each point of the customer journey and that were using tools and metrics to empower their marketing strategy. Email, he concluded, is integral to reaching your target audience effectively, unlocking social media, and generating incredible returns on your investment. Allies on the Success of Certainly Wood
In the final session, Oro partner Allies talked about their successful OroCRM deployment for Certainly Wood, the UK’s largest and most innovative firewood manufacturer and retailer. This presentation included real-life examples of how the platform was used to generate an incredible return on investment (1,000 percent) in both direct-to-consumer and wholesale sales.
