This week our team sponsored the Magento Imagine Conference in Las Vegas. Given our close ties to Magento, it has been rewarding to watch this event grow each year. This year, Oro won big in Vegas. As the event wraps up, here are a few of our highlights…
- Imagine Message: A central theme of Imagine this year was the need to improve the multi-channel buying experience for customers. This is top of mind with the many commerce companies we work with every day and maps to our product vision of giving merchants a single view of customer across all channels with enhanced sales and marketing capabilities.
- The Oro Booth: This year we had a small booth, and a large presence! From three hours before the show open to an hour after the lights shut off, our booth was packed with visitors. OroCRM was demoed to well over 100 individuals with an overwhelmingly positive response to our current product and future roadmap. It also didn’t hurt that we gave out cool OroCRM T-shirts to booth visitors. Thanks to our friends at Headline Shirts for making them possible! We loved seeing our growing Community wearing the OroCRM shirts around Imagine and we expect to see lots of OroCRM selfies after the show! #OroSelfie
- Customers: We also had the opportunity to connect with existing customers and meet people from across the world in the process of implementing OroCRM. We were reminded again of the power of Open Source as we received product feedback from people across the world using OroCRM.
- Technology Partnerships: We met with several successful technology companies that have a high-degree of overlap in our customer base. They were just as excited about an integration with OroCRM as we were about working with them. Over the next several months we will be working with these companies and others to further develop integrations to key marketing, sales and productivity tools. Look for further announcements on this front.
