OroCRM Enhances Integration Into dotmailer

We are excited to announce the new enhancements to the OroCRM-dotmailer integration. Although dotmailer has been one of Oro’s most valuable partners, as well as key third-party application for many OroCRM users, this integration takes the relationship even further by combining dotmailer’s email marketing and data collection into OroCRM’s 360-degree view of the customer.

The following are some of the main benefits that are available to OroCRM and dotmailer users.

  1. Easily view all dotmailer marketing stats within OroCRM

With this integration, OroCRM users can quickly and conveniently view all dotmailer marketing statistics within the OroCRM interface. This includes information related to marketing campaign effectiveness, click-through and open rates, surveys, and any other data collected by dotmailer.

  1. Sync up any information that is put into OroCRM or dotmailer

Expanding its capability to show a 360-degree view of the customer, the OroCRM dotmailer integration automatically syncs up any information a user enters into either OroCRM or dotmailer. This means that when a new lead is created in OroCRM, it will also appear in dotmailer’s lists; or when a contact is created or edited within dotmailer, the change is also reflected in OroCRM.

To further facilitate a single version of the truth, we’ve also made it so this synchronization happens in near real time. This ensures that whenever a user opens either program, they are looking at the most up-to-date information. Now everyone will have the correct data in front of them all the time.

  1. Single sign-on to gain access to both OroCRM and dotmailer systems

After linking OroCRM and dotmailer accounts, this integration improves the user experience by allowing a single-sign on to access both systems. Customers can quickly and easily access dotmailer or OroCRM without having to re-enter their log-in credentials.

In addition, support for advanced OAuth2 adds another security layer by authorizing access to the dotmailer system without sharing credentials.

The advanced mapping integration allows customers to get a true 360-degree view of the customer. With information from dotmailer and any other system integrated into OroCRM, sales and marketing teams can create highly targeted segments. For example, one of our customers wanted a segment of customers who did not open a recent email campaign, hasn’t gone to the website in 90 days, but has an open support ticket. This segment converges data from dotmailer, OroCRM, and a ticket management system. As the advanced mapping integration syncs all information into OroCRM, customers can use the segmentation engine to market to highly targeted segments.

  1. Extensive reporting features using dotmailer data

Most importantly, the OroCRM dotmailer integration aggregates all email marketing data and puts it directly alongside OroCRM’s powerful reporting engine to efficiently generate more informed reports. Data and metrics tracked in dotmailer can be placed alongside other tracked marketing metrics from other marketing campaigns and channels.
