Override Twig for created a custom twig

I want to override the default twig file, located in Lead update twig- 3.0-rc for created my custom twig.

I have try with this guide <How to Override Templates from Third-Party Bundles> but not working and <Overriding Templates – Oro> with the same results.

What is the right procedure to follow for override the default template on OroCrm 3.0-rc ?

I have find the solution.

In the OroCrm 3.0-rc the “src” folder contain AppKernel ecc… This folder in symfony 3.4 is called app, so the right way to go is in How to Override Templates from Third-Party Bundles guide, but, you must change the app folder with src folder.

app/Resources/{BUNDLE_NAME}/views/{PATH/TO/TEMPLATE.html.twig} -> src/Resources/{BUNDLE_NAME}/views/{PATH/TO/TEMPLATE.html.twig}

An application has symfony flex directory structure. So templates should be placed to /templates folder.

As an example you can check how twig templates for exceptions overrode there:

The documentation you referred is for 2.6 version.
For 3.0 version you should use current version

I have try your way, but doesn’t work.

Scenery:

I want to ovveride this template:
vendor/oro/crm/src/Oro/Bundle/SalesBundle/Resources/views/Lead/update.html.twig
I have created the custom template in:
templates/bundles/OroSalesBundle/Lead/update.html.twig

Hi,

Checked the scenario, you are right, it’s broken, the problem in aliases to templates we are using across the project. In above example to make override from the application level possible, the path to the template should be @OroSales/Lead/update.html.twig but now it’s OroSalesBundle:Lead:update.html.twig.

In the second case, override only works with the workaround you mentioned above.
