OroCommerce now supports several different types of promotions out-of-the-box:
-Per Order: Discount is applied to the buyer’s total order
-Line Item: Discount is applied to qualifying line items
-Buy X, Get Y: Buyer purchases qualifying X product and receives a discount off a Y product (i.e. buy one, get one free)
-Shipping: Promotions are for shipping/shipping methods
