oro_price_product entity

Hii

how to deal with price in oro , if I wanna to return the top 10 products by price ;
I tried to write a data provider that return these products and their prices.
so I used an innerJoin statment on the tables oro_product and oro_price_product
is this the best way to deal with prices on oro ?

Hello,
yes you can do what you need in described way, but you should know one thing that shard feature can be enabled for pricing. More info on https://oroinc.com/b2b-ecommerce/doc/current/admin-guide/price-list-sharding.
So, your query need to be ready to executed with enabled price sharding (use ShardManager and required hints). I think, you can write you query like https://github.com/oroinc/orocommerce/blob/master/src/Oro/Bundle/PricingBundle/Entity/Repository/ProductPriceRepository.php#L167.
Also please don’t forget that you should know for what combined price list you will build your query.
