Mupliple Contacts per Opportunity

Hello,

I have faced an issue regarding setting up several Contacts for some Opportunity item. It is a really important use case and would be useful in case of mailing or calling from the Opportunity context.

Could you please advise how to set up a few Contacts representatives for single Opportunity?

Hi Irina,

This can be done in customization.

From the UI:
Go to System/ Entities/ Entity Management/ Entities / Opportunity / Create Field and create one to many or many to many relation to Contact entity, don’t forget to Update Schema after changes

To hide or delete existing relation to contact you still need to update the code, it cannot be done from UI for System relations.

From the code:
You can add an extended oneToMany or manyToMany association from Opportunity to Contact depending on your case.

Not sure how safe will be removing the default relation to contact, but you can try. Anyway, it’s easier just to hide it from UI as it’s already nullable.
This can be done with FormTypeExtension and overriding templates.
